Great DIY craft to create this month with the kids – Thankful Jars!
Supplies: Mason Jar, Elmer’s Glue diluted with water, Paintbrushes, Colored tissue paper (cut into squares and leaf shapes), Twine, Tealight battery-operated candle, Strips of paper, Pen/marker
1. Paint the mason jar with diluted glue. 2. Place squares on the jar. 3. Place a few leaf shapes on top of the squares. 4. Tie twine in a bow around the rim of the jar. 5. Write what you are thankful for on strips of paper and place in jar. 6. Open and read thankful notes on Thanksgiving. 7. Place tealight in jar and use as centerpiece.
